Made from 100% mulberry silk, the fabric is smooth, breathable, and naturally hypoallergenic — the same quality you'd expect from any Sleepy Girl product, just in a much longer format. The silk surface creates minimal friction against your skin and hair as you move through the night, and the non-absorbent fabric won't interfere with any skincare you've applied before bed.

What size is it, and will it fit my pillow?

It's made for long body, pregnancy and bolster pillows, with a standard size of 149 × 49 cm. Custom sizes are available: email hello@sleepygirl.com.au with your pillow's measurements before ordering.
Standard or boomerang: which should I choose?

Choose standard if you sleep on a regular rectangular pillow. If you use a V-shaped or boomerang pillow, choose our Boomerang pillowcase. It's cut to follow the curve, so it doesn't bunch or slip off.
What's the difference between silk and satin?

Satin is a weave, not a fibre, and most satin pillowcases are made from polyester, which is a plastic. Ours is 100% natural mulberry silk: softer, more breathable and smoother on your skin and hair.
What does 22 momme mean?

Momme measures how dense silk is. Most silk pillowcases are 16 to 19 momme. Ours are 22 momme, so there's more silk in every thread, and you'll feel it in the weight, the drape and how long it lasts.
How do I wash my silk pillowcase?

Turn it inside out and hand wash in cool water, or machine wash on a gentle cycle (30°C max) in a mesh laundry bag, with a pH-neutral or silk detergent. No bleach or fabric softener. Dry flat or hang in the shade, never in the dryer.
