Why do you need this?
Fit & Size
Fit & Size Made to follow the shape of your pillow, our boomerang silk pillowcase hugs V-shaped and boomerang pillows from tip to tip, so it stays smooth and in place however you sleep. Dimensions Length (tip to tip): 70 cm Centre: 40 cm Width of each arm: 30 cm Checking the fit Measure your pillow lying flat: from one tip to the other, through the middle of the V, and across one arm. If your measurements are within a centimetre or two of ours, your pillowcase will fit perfectly. The silk’s soft drape lets it sit neatly over pillows that are slightly smaller. Designed to fit most boomerang and V-shaped pillows on the market, including our own ZenNest™ silk-filled boomerang pillow. Unsure about your pillow? Email us its measurements and we’ll confirm the fit before you order.
Fabric & Care
The Material: Why Your Pillowcase Matters More Than You Think You spend 8 hours a night on it That’s around a third of your life with your face and hair pressed against your pillowcase. Most of us put real care into our skincare and haircare, then sleep on cotton that undoes it overnight. Swapping your pillowcase for silk is one of the easiest upgrades you can make to your beauty routine, because it works while you sleep. What makes silk different? Cotton is made of short, coarse fibres that create friction. Silk is made of long, smooth fibres, so your skin and hair glide over it instead of catching. That one difference changes how you wake up: Fewer sleep creases on your face in the morning Less frizz, tangles and breakage, so your hair looks like you just styled it More of your skincare stays on your skin, since silk doesn’t soak it up like cotton does Not all silk is equal We use mulberry silk, the finest silk in the world, made by silkworms fed only on mulberry leaves. It’s grade 6A, the highest quality available, and 22 momme, a measure of how dense the silk is. Most silk pillowcases are 16–19 momme, so ours is noticeably thicker, softer and longer-lasting. Silk vs. satin: they’re not the same Satin is a weave, not a fabric, and most satin pillowcases are made from polyester, a plastic-based material. It looks shiny, but it doesn’t breathe, can make you hot and sweaty, and lacks silk’s softness. Ours is 100% natural silk, with no plastic and no synthetic blends. Cool in summer, cosy in winter Silk is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating. On hot Australian nights it feels cool against your skin, and when it gets colder it keeps you comfortable. Better comfort means a more restful sleep. One small change, every single night. That’s the simplest beauty upgrade there is.Fabric & Care Fabric 100% grade 6A mulberry silk, 22 momme Shaped for boomerang and V-shaped pillows Zip closure for a snug, secure fit that won’t slip during the night Most silk pillowcases are made from 16–19 momme silk. Ours is 22 momme, so there’s more silk in every thread. You’ll notice the difference in its weight, its soft drape and how long it stays beautiful. Care Close the zip and turn the pillowcase inside out before washing Hand wash in cool water, or machine wash on a gentle cycle (30°C max) inside a mesh laundry bag Wash with a pH-neutral or silk-specific detergent Skip the bleach and fabric softener Dry flat or hang in the shade, out of direct sunlight Never tumble dry Iron inside out on a low silk setting if needed Treat it gently and your silk will stay soft, smooth and lustrous for years to come.

Good questions, before a good night’s sleep
Why choose a silk-filled pillow over down or polyester?
Mulberry silk fibre is naturally breathable and temperature regulating, so it keeps you cool in summer and cosy in winter. Unlike polyester, it’s a natural fibre rather than plastic and doesn’t trap heat. Unlike down, it has no feathers or quills, and it’s naturally hypoallergenic, so it’s a gentle choice for sensitive skin and allergy sufferers.
Which shape is right for me?
Choose the boomerang if you sleep on your side. Its curved shape cradles your head and neck, makes room for your shoulder and gives you something to hug. It’s also lovely for reading in bed. Choose the classic shape if you sleep on your back or switch positions through the night and want a traditional pillow with the benefits of silk.
Which fill should I choose?
- 1000g: a lower, softer loft for petite frames or anyone who prefers a flatter pillow
- 1500g: balanced support and our most popular choice, ideal for most side and back sleepers
- 2000g: a fuller, firmer feel for broader shoulders or extra support
How do I care for my silk-filled pillow?
Your silk pillowcase can be gently hand-washed or machine-washed on a delicate cycle in a laundry bag, in cool water with a pH-neutral detergent. The silk-filled pillow itself shouldn’t be washed. Spot clean it if needed, and air it out regularly in a shaded, breezy spot to keep it fresh and lofty.
Will it go flat? How long will it last?
Long, fine mulberry silk fibres hold their shape far better than polyester fill, which tends to clump and flatten within a year or two. With regular airing and a gentle shake to redistribute the fill, your pillow will stay soft and supportive for years. Every pillow is handmade to order in small batches, so it arrives freshly filled.
