The outer shell and inner lining are both made from 100% mulberry silk — smooth, breathable, and naturally hypoallergenic. The silk sits softly against the delicate skin around your eyes without tugging or pulling, and the naturally non-absorbent fabric won't draw moisture from the eye area or interfere with any eye cream you've applied before bed.

Is it real silk?

Yes. We use mulberry silk, not satin, which is usually polyester. Our Silk Outer bonnet also has a microfibre lining on purpose, to soak up hair oils and treatments.
Why silk instead of cotton or satin?

Silk's smooth surface creates much less friction than cotton, so your hair is less likely to tangle or frizz overnight. And unlike polyester satin, it's a breathable natural fibre.
Will it fit me?

Our bonnets and eye masks have an adjustable elastic band that fits most head sizes without pulling or leaving marks. For sleepwear, see the measurements in the description.
How do I wash my silk?

Hand wash in cool water with a pH-neutral or silk detergent, or use a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag. No bleach or fabric softener. Dry flat or hang in the shade, never in the dryer.

NIce but...

I purchased: Double Layered Silk Turban Bonnet - square style, the product is lovely although if you have lots of hair it may not be for you. Sleepygirls' online presence is so much more lux than the overall delivery and presentation of the product. A plain brown board box with no branding, no info card or product care arrives with your product. The only brand presence was a cheap sticker on the tissue paper. It was a no-thrills, no-frills unboxing experience. I think they can do a little better in this area for the customer experience.

I am sorry, but what??

I bought this becaouse i was just curious how the silk fibre feels like - fully intending to return it later (i am sorry), 450 for pillow sounded crazy. I cant return it, i love it too much. The silk fibre feels so much better than polyester and i am allergic to dust, this has been game changer ! I even ordered one custom standard size for my doughter and cant wait to get it.
